I remember when digital in photography came of age. I went screaming into the then new trend selling, $10,000 worth of equipment and buying only a $1000 worth of the new stuff, because thats what I got for my ten grand! Now a lot of years later, I am glad I did. Now I am now screaming that AI is not photography and what am I to do? A WALK FOR PEACE
WALK FOR PEACE USA If you have been asleep for a couple of weeks, or on a ski vacation under three feet of snow, or living in your parents basement, you have not heard of the Monks from Texas walking over 1500 miles to Washington, DC. Well they are and they just came over the border from Georgia to South Carolina walking for peace. Horray for these 19 Monks and their street dog Aloka. RACE POINT LIGHTHOUSE
The original image was taken after an exhausting two mile walk along the beach during the mid day sun. So much for the golden hours of light, but when travelling one has to accept the condiitions that the weather and God Lord provides. This lighthouse is on the outer edge of Cape Cod and is so isolated that one gets real feel for the job of the keepers of yesteryear. In addition to the painted texture added to the image, the sky is also a separate image to add a bit of drama

A NEW BEGINNING
I have been writing a blog, off and on, for years but I must admit with no consistency. I recently did a local book called "Come walk with me", and have other long ago credits in various books, magazines and posters. The cover is of the Congaree River, the Cayce Riverwallk and a couple of train trestles. The original photo has been degitally cleaned and edited to include an oil paint texture provided in Photoshop. Look at the image closely. The texture makes it different
